I WAS RECENTLY GIVEN A LARGE BAG OF TURKEY WING FEATHERS THAT A GUY HAD BEEN SAVING. I HAVE A MAN WHO CAN GRIND THEM AT A REASONABLE PRICE; HOWEVER I USE LEFT WING AND WANT TO KNOW HOW TO IDENTIFY THEM. I CAN MATCH EACH OF THEM AGAINST A PROCESSED WING FEATHER. IS THERE ANY EASIER WAY?

lay the feather down horizontally in front of you flat.... with the quill at the bottom and the outside of the feather facing down and the inside of the feather facing up...the webbing will either run left or right...if it is left then its lw..if it is right then its rw... hold up one of your fletched arrows like this and youll see what i mean...
Thanks for your help and information...cedarshaft
