Title: Where can I get leather wrap for a grip?
Post by: killinstuff on January 08, 2008, 04:50:00 PM
Does anyone have a line on leather wrap for the grip on my longbow like the stuff they use for tennis rackets? The stores around here have the fake stuff and I found some on the web but not black.

Thanks,

CJ

Talk to Rich Bear. He does wraps, I'm sure he could point you in the right direction.

I see 3 Rivers now has a bow wrap in thier catalog.  It is a new item.  Says it is 1" by 30" with self adhesive.  I been thinking about ordering one.

I saw some leather at a craft (Micheals SP?)store from Tandy they had several colors and thicknesses.  Goodwill has old boots and purses that have lots of good leather in them for $1.00

If you go to a furniture store, ask if they have an outdated leather sample book. It will have every type of leather inside,in different colors. Each piece is about the 8"x10"

They would give it to you, they just throw them away.Oh yeah, don't take your wife with you.      :campfire:
