Title: Just got my CE heritage shafts But I need some help
Post by: Scott E on January 07, 2008, 06:36:00 PM
I just got my CE 150 shafts from 3 rivers. I shoot a long bow thats 52# at my draw. If i cut the arrows to 31" and used 145g tips do you think theyll work? I'm going to bare shaft but I dont want to install inserts and then have to take them out to cut them shorter. So if I could just cut them to a length and adjust the weight that would be better.-Scott   :archer:
I think my long bow is cut to center it looks like it any way.

I think you'll find you may need more weight up front. I was leaving mine full length but pulling a tad more weight. 56 pounds maybe. I added 100 grain brass inserts and between 125 and 175 grain points depending on which bow I was shooting.
Desert dude hit the bare shafting on the button. Remove shaft material from the knock end.
