I got a call today from the Union Parish (North Louisiana) Sheriff's office saying that someone had turned in a Jerry Hill Longbow that was found on the road near a rural trash dumpster.
The writting on the bow wasn't clear but it looks like,
"Made for Dave Boersma"
If you have any information you can contact Donna Whitton at the Union Parish Sheriff's office.

You might also try contacting the bowyer...he may have records (address, phone number, etc.) that will lead to re-uniting someone with their stick.

yes, there may be a number on the bow,the bowyer should have the owners information. :archer:
They did contact Jerry Hill and he provided some detail but not enough for the them to track the original owner down.
 Jerry Hill by a trash dumpster.
Ok I will try to be nice..............
Lost mine Sunday night, just got it back last night. Short story is, it blew out of the back of my buddies truck, a guy found it on the road (he was on his way to Church) the gentleman made a few calls to see if anyone knew who used a LH bow. Word got back to my buddy that the bow had been found. The gentleman was just as happy to see that it got back to me as I was to get it back.

The same thing happened tome about 5 or 6 years ago. But I never got my bow back. Hope you find it's owner.
