Title: Brace height for super kodiak

Just been messing with my bow a bit I have always shot it decent but jsut wanting to see if I can get it a little finer tuned..does any on eknow the recommended brace height for a super kodiak 65 @ 28 draw 31.(gainsville if that matters) Thanks

I'm in the same boat. Bought one about 2 mos. ago & I can't find anything about the brace height either. Hope someone here knows. BTW, mine is just a hair under 8" with only a few twists in the string.

I have a '75 Super Kodiak that I shoot quiet a bit.  I have the BH set at 7 7/8", measuring from the string to the deepest part of the grip.   Experiment around with it,  shooting style, type of string, arrows, etc, all may affect what works best for you.  Probably the single thing I did to mine to get great arrow flight was to add an inexpensive Hoyt stick-on elevated rest(@2.50).   I know it is not everyones ideal set-up, but its simple, cheap, and made a difference for me.  Good luck.

I have one that is an early 70's it shoots great at 8 1/4 to 8 1/2  measured from deepest part of the grip. Hope this helps you. FB

I shoot a new Super Kodiak @ 8 3/8in brace.

I believe under 8 1/4 is too low.  Mine shoots best with my style at 8 1/2 to 8 5/8.  Is the quietest at 8 5/8.  670 grain arrow.
