I tromped around the sagebrush today scouting for postseason mule deer (saw 23) and trying to find a bunny.  Got a good shot at this cottontail at 6 yards.
I was shooting my brand new (one week old) Silvertip recurve.  It shoots SWEET!
Hope everyone is fighting off the cabin fever.

Did you manage to get a pass through on that behemoth?

				Awsome pic!!!!!!!!!!!!
That looks like beautiful terrain, and crisp weather.
What type of head did you use?
I love bunnies, quicker than the shake of a lamb's tail...

				Nice Shooting!

				right on!

Nice bunny, looks like you have plenty of cover for them out there.

I shot the bunny with a blunt at about 6 yards.  He was hunkered in the sage, so I could only see a set of ears sticking up.  The arrow didn't pass all the way thru, but he was trapped in the brush with the shaft sticking out both sides.  It was a nice cool day to explore some new territory for a possible deer hunt in Sept.

I was on snow moving equipment on the runway all weekend or that could be me (I wish).  I love to hunt the bunnies when the deer season is over.  Congrats on a good stalk and hit-enjoy it.
Our late season deer is over for those lucky rifle hunters and My son's friend scored on a big 5 X 7.  More importantly he saw a great lion.  that's next for me....only 6 miles from town.
