Here is my new longbow I finished this last week. I wanted to put an elk tooth for a little mojo. I've put them on before but wanted something different. My wife told me to put it below my logo. I explained I couldn't cut through the glass, but I thought if I sanded it down enough I might be able to glue it to the belly. Here's how it turned out. I think it is kind of neat.

I'd have to buy the tooth to do that.. :( :campfire:
Nice
DB the tooth was given to me. I was given two, one off a 380 bull and one from a rag horn, I don't remember which was which. I have yet to collect my own :banghead: Thanks for the compliments.
Ryan,
Very nice job and your Logo has improved as well. That one has Elk written all over it.
Hope you guys had a great Holiday and aren't getting too much snow this weekend.
Pat

Nice bow Ryan. If you haven't already ordered the skins, Mike at Pine Hollow Longbows has the nicest matched sets of snakeskins that I've found. See you around. Mike
Cocobola?I love cocobola. There is something else.?
By the way,Nice job
thats a cool bow! :clapper:
thats a cool bow! :clapper:
YEAH! that is pretty cool.
If I had to guess I would say that by the color and the flatter (worn) tip that that tooth is from the older 380 Bull.
GG If that's the case,( and I kind of suspected that due to the lack of wear on the other tooth) then mabey this bow will have some serious mojo :bigsmyl:
Now if I could just draw a LE elk tag in my own state
:banghead:
There are two big herds of elk hanking out by I-80. I saw them every morning last week on the way to work. Both contain atleast 40 animals but I have not seen anything larger than a rag horn yet.
This year!!!!
Mitch, where were those elk a couple weeks ago? That's me, day late and a dollar short lol. There are a lot down off the highway in Sanpete county as well. I will get ahold of you later this week.
i got it skinned, it turned out alright!
