Well.. I've been shooting Hill D-Style longbows all my life! Finally, ordered a Howard Hill Halfbreed! Spoke to Craig last night, and sent in the order this morning. It will be a 66" One Piece Longbow, Inner Core Bamboo with an extra lamination of bamboo, and Yew Lams on the back and belly, should draw 50# or a little more @ 28. Cocobolo handle & overlays, dark brown leather stitched handle, with a deer sterling silver inlay. I can hardly wait! But, it'll be worth it! I will post pics when it comes.

Congrats Steve! Craig makes a great bow and i'm sure you will have many years of enjoyment with your Halfbreed. Make sure you post some pics when it arrives!
Best Wishes!

HH Longbow are cool.

I'm sure you'll love it! I know I love all my Hill's. Congrats!

You won't regret the Hill. As a lifelong Hill shooter myself, they do everything a guy needs. Sure, some others have fancy curves, inlays, overlays, etc., but for a hunting bow, Hill gets the job done!!

I've been shooting everything other than a D style bow,,, and that's the one I've been looking over for some time now. Post pics when you get a chance so I can go even more crazy.

Congrats on the new acquisition. I have a Halfbreed I bought from a fellow tradganger here. Mine is 57@28, and 62". It surprised me how quick it flings an arrow. I only wish it was a little longer. I'm used to shooting a 62" 3pc pronghorn, which is much more forgiving than the Halfbreed. I think you will like the 66" length. It is a fun, classic bow. In fact, I think I'll go shoot it right now. ;)
