I started out in traditional archery with the old Bear Recurves built in Grayling, because I think they are cool. But since I got my new Whisperstik last spring, I hardly shoot the old Bears anymore. I took my first traditional deer this past season with the Whisperstik. I cant believe how fast and quiet this thing is. I just cant put it down. I shoot it 2-3 times day, about 100-200 arrows through the whole day. JD is a great guy and if it wasnt for him I may still be using my training wheels. He encouraged me to stay with it and now I am hooked. This bow is sweet!
Check out his website
sponsor websites only please.
Jim is a super nice huy to talk with and priced well. I am sure he will be a K-Zoo. His mojo stick is nice!
Well i have shot my WHISPERSTIK for a few days now and all i can say is anyone who like an 50's styled curve that throws an arrow like grease lightning owes it to thereself to look into these bows!!!!!GREAT CRAFTMANSHIP and just a pleasure to carry and shoot.Shoots where you look.Stevie Wonder could hit the bullseye with this bow...JD CALL ME
I agree with my buddy dean these bows are flat out shooters and beautiful!!!! and JD is a pleasure to deal with! if your looking for a great priced bow that shoots like a million BUCKS this is the one!
Thanks to Brother Dean and Chas, I have one on the way.... As well as a part-time Job...
Its gonna have to live in a Bow Sock in the Garage for a while.... Until it can age...
Better send it to me Mitch so it doesn't go bad from neglect. I'll send it back once you convince the wife with a good alibi. :biglaugh:
Think Think Think Think Think,
As Winnie the Pooh would say....
LOL... :knothead:
Heck in a few weeks you can tell her I gave it to you since it'd have my address on it. ;)
EXCELLENT.......EXCELLENT...
This has the makings of a some sort of a service fee for guys who get new bows.
Send the bow to sender, with a small fee of course, the bow comes to your house from Vermont, and there ya go..... We could even print up a certificate for a "drawing winner"...
You guys are pretty devious!! But I like the Idea!! I want in on the shipping loop too!!
put me down lol
Sadly I have done this once or twice for poor unfortunate souls with less than understanding spouses. It is why I preach the have a separate bow account to all that are new to the Trad Bow affliction. :D
biggest dillema, which woods for the new one...the curves are sweet. Heard he won't be at Kzoo though..?
I'm guessin Tom will head to Kzoo even if JD doesn't. I'm sure Tom will bring several bows as well.
I guess I'll just have to head to Sand Lake in the morning, I was thinking about picking up some stuff anyway, I'll ask Tom if he is going to Kzoo.
Andy
they are at the ata show, won't be back untill Monday. If I get a chance I'll run up there and ask them.
Andy
Sticks only,
PM sent.
Greg
It looks like JD and I will be at the K-Zoo show on friday night. No booth, just be there lookin' around. He will probably throw some bows in the truck though. JD will be the guy wearing a whisperstik t-shirt and nine fingers.
