I'm thinking of ordering a Schafer Silvertip made out of Midnight Dymondwood and Osage.
Can anybody post some pics of any makers bows with this wood choice in the riser ?
Thanks,
JD

This one is close. Osage with charcoal silvertone dymondwood and a tease of purpleheart. The midnight dymondwood is pure black, the silvertone has a hint of silver in the grain in the light. Mike

JD, The midnight dymondwood is Black Looks like Gaboon Ebony to me, No grain. It should look real good with Osage.

Thanks Bob. I've seen a bow or two or yours with the midnight dymondwood and they look almost as good as they shoot :)
I can't decide on which wood should dominate the riser.
