Title: longbow for intersted wife
Post by: aklongbow on January 01, 2008, 10:46:00 PM
My wife is showing interest in shooting. Question what is a good firstlongbow for her to get hooked?  I do not want to blow the opportunity.  We have been married for 28 years and to be able to enjoy archery with her would be a blessing.

aklongbow,

I just got my wife a Voodoo Kustom elk handled longbow. It's 58" and 33@27. SWEEEEEEEET bow. Hers is the one on the left.

BTW, she hates that pic cause it was X-Mas morning and she didnt get all dolled up.   ;)

Don't forget Mike @ Maddog Archery.  He made a nice #30, 54" bow for my wife.  First bow she's shot, and she seems to like it, and is givin' it a fair chance.  For $100 it seems like a good deal.        and I find myself shooting it more and more.  So I guess I'll give it
