Well, Bamboo and I gave it one last strong effort in CT on Saturday. Rain and fog gave way to an overcast day. We hunted hard...worked over areas that were productive in the past, did our best calling and chasing routines...but came home empty.
Only spotted 2 does late in the afternoon but just far and spooky for any shots. We'll be heading back in Feb to setup some new natural blind locations as the snow showed us some new trails the deer were using to enter our area. Mike took this one photo of me as we headed up a steep part of the Mtn...plenty of runoff...Wait til next year....on to Jersey!!

Southern CT got a dusting this morning, which melted off by 10am :) No shoveling for me! :D
Plenty of snow in the valleys and eastern slopes. Very patchy thats why Mike and I stayed with ASAT and kept the snow camo in the truck.
Looks like some nice terrain. Jeremy....sounds like you are volunteering for trail breaking. :D
We got about 8", but most of it melted....we shall see what tomorrow brings.
Joe, I envy you and your multi-state hunting. Good luck in Jersey...
