I would choose the Widow over the GP's only because the Widow will retain its value way better. They are both nice shooters. Its funny I own both the Arroyo and PTF11 and I like them both but as far as performance and quietness the Arroyo wins hands down. Shawn

i have no experience with the swift. i own a psa v that i love. i feel this is a very forgiving bow that is easy to shoot accurately. consider the asbell grip if you decide on the widow.

If you were asking for which bow for you I would say the answer lies in you shooting both. I have a 58" SR Swift. A special order I beleive. Phenolic, Osage and Cocobolo riser with bamboo limbs. Top notch quality and shootability. It is also my opinion, I repeat, my opinion, that the SR Swift is more eye appealing with a more modern, not dated look. I have approximately 25 bows and the SR is my go to bow.
But keep in mind, Black Widow has a huge following. You have to be good  people and have a great product in order to maintain the success they have.

Black Widow PSA!!!    I have a 60" 52#@28" that I really love. It's the one bow I have that will never be for sale. Like Shawn said, they do retain there value.

I've got my eye on a used PSA that is the perfect length and draw weight.  One thing that concerns me is noise.  I've heard that the Widows are noisier than the average custom bow and I hate noisy bows.

I have owned a PSA and now I have a SR Swift Rio bravo and I think the Swift is lighter in mass weight. They are both great bows. I also have PL111 TD that also shoots great.

Owned one Widow...won't do that again.  Hands down the noisiest recurve I've ever shot.  Owned a 3 pc GP years ago.  Very quick and fairly quiet shooter.  Would do THAT again.

Hello sir. I'm no expert by any stretch, but I had a Widow and could shoot it, I mean shoot it. I thought I just got caught up in th hpye and could shoot any bow just as well... I sold the widow and went through several more bows. I got another widow and Bingo... Maybe its mental, maybe not?  Alls I know is for me, Black Widow Bows are in my hand from here on....  I've shot the PTF and PSA/ both shoot equally as good. I like the option of take down, but the one piece is a classic look... Your call there..

I will say that the Asbell grip was very nice...just fit.  I loved the look and feel (in hand) of the Widow, but the .22 mag sound put me off.
