Anyone use the wraps on wooden shafts??I've used wraps on carbon for years, but have never tried them on wooden arrows.Do they adhere alright??Any pics or stories would be appreciated. Also, have they been used on TAPERED wooden shafts??
I never fletch my wood arrows without a wrap anymore. they adhere just like on any other material, and I can remove feathers withoutslicing into the shaft and damaging it
Sure you can. They look great and like Alex said, you don't mess up your shaft stripping feathers. I've seen Adam, the owner, put them on Grizzly Sticks, which are tapered. I figure it would be the same.
What do those arrow wraps weigh guys? never used em myself....Kirk
They work great and I would say around 12-15 grains depending on length. Shawn
Sure they do. Here are my BW look alikes that I designed and had Arrow Wraps Unlimited custom make for me.

In fact if you go to their web site
he used my arrows in his advertisment.

Thanks guys.Just thinking about maybe taking a little time off of dipping and cresting and waiting on drying with my wood shafts.Like I said,I've used them for years on carbon, just wasn't sure about wood.Plus, those snake skin wraps look nice.......a copperhead Longbow with copperhead wraps on the arrows would just HAVE to look great!
If you do order them Onestringer's (sponsor) prices are better. Found that out late as usual :banghead: .
