Title: Article in TBM 1995 April/May issue
Post by: tecum-tha on December 25, 2007, 07:59:00 AM
I found on the net that there was an article/interview with Jim Duclos from Green Mountain Longbows (TB A/M 1995 pp.28-32). There is a green mountain longbow at the classifieds with my specs and I wonder about the bowyer and his bow models. A scan would be great to my e-mail!
Thanks!
Roland

Roland,
I will see if I can dig out that article later, I'm a little busy right now. I have owned and shot the Green Mountain bows very stable and fine workmanship. Is the one you'r looking at a reverse handle or regular?

I live in NH and a lot of guys I know have Green Mtn. Longbows simply because when Jim was making them he was close by. None of the guys I know that have them will ever get rid of them....they just shoot too good. I suspect if Jim ever started making them again he would have a backlog in a very short time. I think if  you got the bow you would not be disappointed at all.
