I was blessed on Friday with this knarly looking 7 point in Joe Budd WMA.
He was running a scrape line and I got to watch him freshen up a scrape about 100 yards away and then he turned and came straight to my tree.
The shot was about 10 yards and he ran about 125 before expiring.
Shot was a little quartering to me but I got one lung and the Razorbak did it's job nicely.
Shot him with a Quinn Longhorn 52@28" with a Easton XX75 Legacy arrow and a 125 gr Razorbak.
I am tickled!

congrats on a fine kill nice tracking dog also!!
Cool! I like your tracking beagle.
congrats !!!! Good looking beagle you got there too.
Lord I forgot to give Daisy Mae credit in her part of the tracking! :D
The blood trail was good enough that a blind man could have followed it but Daisy needed the track anyways.
She went right to him...
Congratulations Glenn! Nice buck. Lin
Great Hunt, Great Deer.....and Beagles are so cool, mine is 14y/0 and still likes to chase the bunnies
congrats bud!
Good Job!
Congrats!
Congrats Glenn!!!
Glenn, Good job. Hope to see you up at Joe Budd on the last hunt. That WMA was the setting of many a good hunt back in my FSU days. Then it was 15 minutes from Doak Campbell stadium( I lived right there) to the check station. What a pretty place.
DonD
Congrats!!
Nice deer... but, where`s the snow? No layered clothes? No gloves, or stocking hat?
Just sunscreen, and bug dope.
Congrats.

Actually it was about 60 degrees and there were no bugs at all. I had to strip down to a t-shirt because the pull back was about a mile...all up hill! :D Think goodness my father was there with his cart cause that would have been a long drag.
Thanks everyone!
Dond - I'm already looking forward to the January hunt. That 3 point on one side rule seems to be working great. I saw more bucks this weekend than doe's and most had racks.
Congrats!!! :clapper:
Congrats! How long have you been working with your beagle on tracking deer?
She is almost 4 years old so I guess about 3 1/2 years old.
She has been on about 1/2 dozen trails and this is the first one that had a happy ending.
Congrats
Very nice!! Congrats!
Congrats on the successful hunt and track!
