Title: Tuning problems from a newbie
Post by: Robert Warnock on December 23, 2007, 02:25:00 PM
I am shooting an older Pearson bow.  It is #45 at 28 and it is 62 inches long.  I  didn't know what too tight nocks were until recently.  I realized mine where way too tight.  I opened them with an emory board until they fit properly.  I immediately noticed that my release was much smoother.  However, my arrows are still hitting to the left at 10 yards.  They are also hitting the target nock left and point right.  They are 2016's 30 inches long.  What do I need to do next?  Thanks for your help and Merry Christmas!

2016s are a bit stiff for that bow. Try the heaviest points you have. A 1916 would be a better match for your set-up though.

Yep....agree with Vermonster, 2016's are a bit too stiff.
