One of our daughters is having surgery on Thursday Morning. My wife is taking her to John Hopkins while I tend to getting our other two off to daycare and School.
Kaci is having a piece of her hip and placing on her palate.
She is our 9 year old and we have been scraping money trying to afford the brace's and hardware trying to pull her upper teeth together.
Poor child is a little scared but I trust God will be right there giving the Dr.s direction and a steady hand.
After we get things going for Kaci our 5 year old Darci is going to have her left first digit made to act as a thumb and we are going to Shriner's to have that done.
She is very excited just thinking she can start to possibly hold a pencil or crayon. She has very little movement in her right hand without a thumb as well.
Her left hand she can move her 4 fingers and holds a crayon between her middle and ring finger and does an excellent job but the Dr. at Shriner's said she would benefit a lot to move her first digit to the side a little so she can grasp things a little more.
So if you will I ask to "Please" pray for our girls.
God Bless and Thank you! <")))><

I knew from our early association, Keith, that your li'l China dolls all had medical issues. What a loving sacrifice you and your Mrs are making on their behalf besides just giving them all that love! Kudos.
Prayers for both Kaci and then Darci

Amen and Praise God for His tender loving care

Keefer. Hoping for the absolute best for your little ones. My son went through cancer treatment a few years ago so I can appreciate what you're going through now. And to give a warm and loving home to these young ladies is beyond praise. Not many out there to take on that kind of challenge. You and your wife are special. :clapper:

Prayers sent. May God work through those doctors hands and benefit your little ones. Saint Pio, grant an intercession and protect these children.

Heres Kaci about 5 years ago when she was 4 I believe. I always loved this picture of her looking at the target she was about to shoot at like she was estimating the distance :)

Praise be to God all went well for little Kaci.
Her lip only has a few stitch's but to early to see the palate repair.
I wished I could of been there with my wife as she made the trek to John Hopkins by herself this morning but we couldn't find anyone to take care of our other two girls and get them on the bus so I stayed and took care of them and headed to work.
It's so hard in todays world to have back up plans and family's don't seem to get together and care for each other like years ago.
I'm just greatful my wife knows how to drive in the city and do all the Dr. forms etc.
Not saying all men but many have no idea on how to do these sorts of things.
I thank our God for a good wife that can.
My wife sent me a picture on my i phone and her lip looks really good with just a few stitch's
but couldn't see in her mouth cause she is in a deep sleep still.
Thank you everyone and I'll keep you updated.

Praise God! He is living goodness and wants the bestfor your little girl.

Another excellent news report on this channel.
Thanks, Keith! More prayers for continued healing and Darci next?

Praise God for Kaci's surgery she just had on Thursday morning.
She is doing very well for a 9 year old that had a piece of her hip graphed in side her upper gum area as well as her outside lip reconstructed to actually look like a lip then having a birth mark/mole removed from right arm.
I ask her do you feel pain and answer is very little to none.
I am taking off work to be with her today but tomorrow she will be back in school but has to stay away from sports etc. and only have soft foods for 4 weeks.
Just yesterday she was on her i pod thing and singing a Christian artist song called "God's Not Dead" He's surely Alive!
I was touched in the healing process and she does have to really keep her mouth and teeth pretty clean several times a day for the graph to take or she will have to have it done again but Dr's said that's a 10% chance but she does go back to see them on the 20th for a check up.
Thank you so much God for answered prayers in Jesus name! <")))><

What a tough li'l "princess" huh, Keith? Great story...
I had a good bit of oral surgery done with braces in my teens and I can attest to the memory that "IT HURT!"
I'm so moved every time I think of those 3 "china dolls" you rescued from a life of "?"...
not one, but 3! I"m sure the lord smiles at you and prayerfully, ON you! :)
keep the Son in your eyes, brother.
