Today, as I was driving down to Florida to the TBOF Fall Rendezvous, I got a call that my mother passed away. She was in failing health, and her dementia was so advanced that she did not recognize me the last several times I visited her.
It is hard to grieve now, because I grieved some time ago when I realized just what condition she was in. Just the same, it is difficult to give her up. Please keep us in your thoughts.

Praying that you understand your feelings through this. When dementia is involved you say goodbye in your heart long before the rest of the body stops. You likely have already grieved for the loss of your mother. Praying you receive God's tender comfort.

Indeed! Prayers for peace that passes understanding. I, too, had the occasion to grieve a parent before they were gone, knowing what was to occur.
Doesn't make it easier. Christians do have the promise of a better existence for them then bound in this fallible earthly body.
They now stand perfect before Christ.

Praying you find Peace in your faith in His Grace.

Thank you all.
