Here is a bow that I made for my daughter as a Xmas gift. The limbs are purpleheart with tulip wood tips. The handle is tulip wood and osage with an osage overlay. I modeled it after my Navajo Caddo.
The bow is 42" long and is 13# @ 17". The bow is 1" wide at the handle fades and runs a straight taper to 3/8" tips. I used .03 glass and two lams of purpleheart that were just under .0625" with one being a parallel lam and the other has a .001 taper.
