Just would like to let every one know, that this could be my final post on TG. I got the results back from my CT SCAN yesterday, confirming that I have Cerebellar Ataxia. Over time, I will or can, loose most of my motor skills. Walking, driving, able to stand up with out falling and on and on. No way to tell how soon, or how bad it can get, that is out of the doctors and my control. There is no cure, as of now, so it is what it is.
I spend more time trying to correct spelling on my post, that I used to typing it. My eye sight will not let me read very good so all this will eventually come to a close.
I just want to say to every one a huge thank you for being part of my life, and sharing what we all love to do. Unfortunately, my time has all but come to a close as far as being able to do anything archery related, hunting, fishing and just about any thing actually.
I will never forget what some of you have done for me, and cherished every minute that I had a chance to share time with you.. Some I have never met, and never will, but again I thank you for the most wonderful ride I could have ever taken.
My one goal in life way to make it to a classic. I made two of them. and can recall almost every minute of those trips. So wonderful to share with all of you.
So if you don't see me around, just know you all are still in my thoughts and will ever be so.

Charlie,
Were fate different, I'd be back down to see you and try to get you out to at least sit a bank somewhere and drown a few worms... Alas, life changes and things change around us.
I am deeply saddened for your news, but then, this has been the culprit for lo these many past years. If things progress as slowly as they have to this point, you might yet be able to remain relatively active.
Thank you for our past friendship, our more recent trades and deals, and the insights you've shared over time.
You will remain in my prayers. You have my cell phone #...if you can hear to talk on a phone, you can always call and BS a bit as I have unlimited minutes now on VZ...
Be in God's Grace. He will not forsake you. Life may change, but God's love is enduring, Charlie!
Keep the Son in your eyes!

As we approach this day of Thanksgiving, my prayers are redoubled for you Charlie, and for all, that each of you find peace, hope and some sense of Thanksgiving for your trials and challenges.
Surely an area of Christian living I do not do as well as I'd like nor as I'm "called" to do.
Continued prayers, my friend...

I hear from Charlie now and again but last he shared, the screen is getting very hard to see...
And his hearing is toast, so phone chats are tough...
I know he appreciates your prayers...he's a good hearted man who knows the Lord...
Lord, we ask your blessings on our friend, hold him close, lift him up, help him to cope with these transitions...amen

Just shot a note to Charlie after my daily visit to here...
Put it in 20pt type to help reading. I'd not heard any reply to others so thought it would help.
I got a short note back thanking all for their prayers and indicating that indeed, LARGE FONTS help his read emails...
I shared that many have kept him in prayers... He was pleased.

Thanks so much every one for the continued prayers and thoughts. Yes David, the larger fonts help in my reading.
I have continued to try and find some help for this condition, only to be turned down by 15 Neurologist in my area. No one will take me and all say there is nothing they can do. If you want to know more, look up Cerebellar Ataxia and that should explain.
I do not get on the sites much any more because of the reading and what it does to my balance after reading for a while.
Have been told by what Dr.'s I have seen, that this will only in time put me some where that is an assisted living space, as I will not be able to take care of my self. Now that is something to look forward too.
I try each day to continue, only to be shut down for a few days afterwards, but I will continue.
Again thanks so much for your continued prayers, thoughts, and concerns.

Jesus and I hate Cerebellar Ataxia and His name is greater. Prayers for the death of Cerebellar Ataxia in your life.

Good to see Charlie post...
Sent him a note after reading this...
His email is on his ID Card of his post. Just use big bold type...I bold 20pt Arial Type font!
Encouraged him to see out some research hospitals...perhaps there are things being done quietly elsewhere then his home area of Richmond VA and nearby areas...
