I used to live in Vernal, 10 yrs in fact.

Lots of traditional archers.  Split Mountain Archers is a good place to start, lots of trad guys there.

Big Foot Fly shop ( used to work there)- talk to Lory, She will know a few and how to get ahold of them.

Take care
Jake

Hey buddy,

I'm just accross the line in Rangely. I'm also a Utah native and still do a lot of hunting there.

We have a archery club in Rangely that does a few 3D shoots a summer.

Maybe we can get together sometime and loose some arrows and tell hunting lies.

Welcom to the gang.

Todd

There are a few of us here. Vernal has quite a few from what I understand. They have a great shoot out there every spring, that I hope to make one of these years. You live close to a great bunch of mountains (bookcliffs) For bear, deer, and elk. But everything here is on a draw system. Prepare to be discouraged with the way the division is run here, and how the hunts are structured. But there is some good hunting here if you know where to go. Get on the divisions web site and start applying.
Good luck to you and if you ever make over into UT county let me know, we could hook up and shoot some. If you have any other questions feel free to call me or email me. Welcome to the gang!
