Merry Christmas Mark,

Actually I bought a 55 pounder about a month ago. I have probably owned 5 or 6 in the last ten years and this one seems to have a bit narrower tips and also seems quieter. Of course I'm older now and probably can't hear as well either.I don't have any of the others around to compare it too. Bow lust you know - too much trading;) Anyway I like this one and am going to keep it this time around.

Steve

P.S. I still have the Tomahawk SS. It's become one of my favorites and is in my "keeper" stable.

Of all the MANY bows I have owened and traded. This is by far one of the quitest bows. Martin has served me well over the years. I'm working on arrows right now. very quick, easy on the eyes, and Great Martin customer service.

The guy that got me into trad archery is all about Martin bows.  After owning several black widows and other much more expensive bows he settled on a Martin Dreamcatcher and another take down Marting that I do not remember the name of.  He says it's all he'll ever shoot and that both out shoot all the more expensive custom bows he's owned.  I shot his dreamcatcher and it is for sure one sweet shootin bow.
