my mother just got results back from a few tests. she has colon cancer and needs to have surgery. the doctors hope to remove a section and remove the cancer but will not know untill the surgery. myself and my mother are both fighters and take things in stride both good and bad but this really hits hard. could you please say a prayer for her? for those who pray with pipe could you plsease send smoke? i can not and will not even try to put in to words what my mother means to me, a Saint is all that comes to mind.

Prayer sent. I know what your mother means to you.

Ken,
No words but "Mother" need be spoken. Millions of images come to all who read those words and while no two will be alike, it stirs deeply for all.
Prayers that His will be done, but that His Will include that large measure of strength, hope, peace that passes understanding and discernment to know and feel His presence. If healing be His will, we beseach Him to provide the physicians and surgeons with guidance, skill and talent to render this dreaded disease inert in your Mother and bring her through this ordeal safely!
Kenny, Keep the Son in your eyes!!!

Ken you got my prayers for you and your mother's best.

Oh, Ken...
"Mother Mowry" truly is a saint. She put me up last deer season and was the first person there when I took my first deer. These past 3 or 4 years, she's come to mean alot to me. Prayers and smoke will be sent brother...

praise the lord ken, i pray she will be back on her feet real soon. mothers are so very, very special, they do things us wimmpy sons wouldn't think of doing, i wouldn't give birth to any one of you guys. doc said he hopes she's back swatt'n you with a stick, well i would hate to hear that, well i mean, i would hate not being there to see it.ha! i just remembered my mom swatting me, i would much rather see you get swatted.ha! all jokes aside ken, i will continue to pray for her. may GOD bless you both, and your lives continue on the lords path.

my mother had the surgery yesterday and doc said they were able to remove ALL the cancer with the secetion of colon they took out. they reattached it and mom is now recovering allthough in great pain it is a success!!! thanks to all for the support!
-
Glad for the good news. Praying for God's comfort and continued healing.
-
Continued prayers for quick healing and full restoration... Sorry to hear about all the pain.
Watch they don't give her a lot of that oxcodone/oxycontin meds... proven that older folks don't "metabolize" it well and it can become residual leading to dementia looking stupor! My dad spent 30 days "drying out" some years back after a bout of those drugs!
Prayers for peace and strength for Mom!
