Me and my hunting buddy were suppose to leave friday for a 6 day Ohio hunt. 5 brothers run a large outfitting business and 3 of them were killed in a car wreck so this season has been cancelled. Life and family is more important than a deer hunt and my heart and prayers go out to there family. I talked to one of the brothers and he assured me that we were on for next year so i am fine with that.
Count your blessings my trad family because you never know when your time will come to go on to the happy hunting grounds. You know i hear and read a lot about petty things everyday and i am so thankful that my child is happy and healthy and so am i. Everyday that we can wake up with sound mind and body is a good day.
Take care

Count your blessings for sure.
What part of Ohio were you going to hunt?
-
Im not sure Randy but i do know it was in southern ohio. I had talked to some guys who had been before and were going back and they said it was loaded with some really nice bucks.

Not sure if you can (or want to) alter your schedule or not, but the Ohio Trad Deer camp might be an option for you.

To be honest Jim im going through some hard times myself so not going on a hunt right now is a blessing.

Sorry to hear that. :( If you change your mind or if you just want to hang with some questionable dudes around the campfire, you're more than welcome though.

Not to lose the tenor of your original post, prayers for a family that lost 3 brothers in one fell swoop. That has to be tough.
Prayers that the family know Christ and find peace in His arms, knowing that all is within his power and might.
Prayers too for you, too, Joevan 125, for whatever challenges face you. This place, these people, kept me sane through 13 months of one failed job prospect and unemployment after another!
Keep the Son inyour eyes!
