Just wanted to ask for prayers on our Travel To Adopt another little girl that has Special Needs....We leave to adopt another girl we will name "Kaci" on Thursday from Dulles Airport and will be gone for two full weeks and we are a bit nervous and really excited...As some may already know this is our second adoption and since we are in our later part of age 46 & 47 is probally our last but one will never know what God will have us do later in life...He has Blessed us more then I deserve and I Love Him for all He has done for my Family and for letting my wife and I care for two of His little lambs...They will be raised in a Christain Home where they will know our Creator "God" and I pray they will come to know our Lord and Savior "Jesus Christ" at an early age....Thank You All and may God Bless You as He did for my Family that I wanted for years! I will now have "Two Arrow's In My Quiver" and I Love them both Dearly! In His Son name "Jesus" I pray....Keefer's <")))><

Wow Keefer. May God bless you and protect you and grant all of the desires you have listed!
-
That is so very cool...and takes some pretty special people to have such a willing and selfless heart!
Prayers for safe travels and limited red tape, as there will be "some" regardless.
Travel well and keep the Son in your eyes!
Lord in your mercy....

Thanks guys for the prayers and can I add one more please...We just booked our seats for economy and it's a 14 hour one way flight and we started to pick our seats ahead of time like the Airline Co,. Said we could do but as we got on all but 4 seats were left in economy and we have to sit apart...I will be in the back row and my wife and little one a few seats ahead of me...Please pray we can get seats closer somehow...I wanted a window seat for the little one to view America as we fly over Alaska and we could of went up to Economy Plus but it was about $149.00 extra for each seat...We decided to stay with the economy cause it would of been around $450.00 more and tax I guess...Anyway the good thing is we are just about ready and need to finish packing...God Bless All & Thanks for all your Prayers... Congratutlations!!!
God has smiled upon you-a father a second time.
Lots of men can make children, but it takes a special man to be a father.
Praying for your safe return, and for love, mercy, Godliness, wisdom.........oh yeah, longsuffering and patience. :)
You are blessed.

Continued prayers for safe round trip safety and ease. If God wants you all to sit together, a quiet word to the gate attendant early might just open the door for Him to open someone's heart. If not, you and your wife can prolly take turns with the li'l one so you both get some seat time close on to your precious new package. :)
What a treasure it has to be to know you're opening your lives, hearts and home to one so in need! Blessings on you and your whole family!
Keep the Son in your eyes

Well,Doc and everyone we made it to Beijing after a 14 hr. flight and Doc. you must of been praying a little extra for us cause God did indeed show us His presense at the
time we were entering the shoot to the plane...We not only got seats together but He got us a row in the Economy Plus and we knew this wold cost us $450.00 to $500.00 if we purchesed them before hand but He gave us them for No extra charge and we only needed three going over but got a row with five...God Is Good All The Time,Amen! Thank to all for lifting us up...Another special note kinda funny...I was reading my book that Mike Mittin signed for me "One with the Wilderness" and poor little Ande our first daughter accidently spilled her Orange juice into our Diaper bag and I was able to clean it up quickly and then even funnier was about an our before we landed she said"Me Tummy Hurts" and threw up and as my Good dear wife let her throw up into her hands it overflowed and went all over the book ...I was able to clean it again and when I get to read it ,It will hold some special memories... :archer: God Bless Her cause she was a true joy to watch as we flew over as a family...She is so anxious to see her little sister and I can;t wait to see her face when she see's her for the first time....God Bless, Keefer's <")))><

NOw, Keef...that just made my whole week reading that story.
You two are for sure, special people God's picked for a special role in these kid's lives! To find joy in OJ an vomit on your book...that takes a true parent's unconditional love. :)
Thank you Lord for making this couple who they are to serve in this way!
You are an inspiration to us all, Keef. Be well and may your return flight be as precious and delight-filled as the one over.
Thank you Lord for their fortune on the plane.
Keep the Son in your eyes, Callahan family

Keith,
Lord already knew your need and heart on the seating thing...just allowed you time to walk in Faith...not sure this ole rusty vessle had much to do with it, but prayers of supplication can never hurt. :)
But you're dead on that such small answered prayers show us His love daily.

Doc,
Your vessle may be rusty on the outside but your Spirit within is full of treasure that I beleive is what our Father wants us to be full of...Thanks Brother and have a Great Lords Day when you wake up thismorning...It's already morning here a bit smoggy, sunny and mid 60's for the day...I sure miss my Eastern Shore of Maryland and can't wait to get home and see those Fall Colors...God Bless, Keefer's <")))><
-
Thanks, Keith, but oft as not, what leaks out of this rusty ole vessle ain't what God would cherish...but it's good to know a raindrop can shine like diamonds in the light of the Lord.
Continued prayers for peace and blessing while you travel safely about China... and may you store up heavenly treasures to bring back with you on your return.

Just an update everyone...I'm a Daddy to another little girl we named "Kaci".We are half way through our adoption journey and thanks for all of your prayers that have been answered .Please pray as we fly to Guangzhou from Nanjing this afternoon and our new little one won't be so frightened of the Jet noise. She has had a very hard life from birth and was found on a side of a road at 2 months old and in an orphanage for over two years till now.The Docs think she was born on July 18th but they found her on 9-11-07 and just estimated her age.She has a repaired cleft lip and palate and a mild heart condition that our Doc will check back home...She is so shy and quiet till you put her in an elevator and seems to be more settled each day.We are bonding very well and loving on her much...Thanks for letting me post my prayers here and for taking your time and joining in prayer...God Is Awesome!God Bless You All, Keith <")))><

Praise God and may He continue in His blessings on you and your growing family!

It takes a special heart to heed His words, "As you do to the least of these...so you do onto me..."
Not so many of us can measure up to your level of committment. It is a shame what some of these female children face.
Praises for those of you who find the true meaning of Christian Love to invest and put out so much for the little ones. God bless your every move and guide you with each step taken.
Prayers for a great rest of the trip and bonding trip home.
Keep us connected please...
-
KEEF,
FAMILIES LIKE YOU AMAZE ME WITH YOUR OPEN HEARTS AND COMMITMENT. YOU FOLKS ARE TRUE SHINING LIGHTS IN A SOMETIMES DARK WORLD.
MAY HIS LIGHT SHINE UPON YOU AND YOUR EXPANDING FAMILY!

Thanks for the update, brother. That is totally a "God-incidence" (Mom used to say that, instead of a coincidence) :) to come off the Bay Bridge to deer bounding about! :jumper:
Bask in His wonderous outdoors as you give him thanks for the safe trip and incredible journey you shared with us all.
Thank you, Lord, for watching over the Keefers.
