We're all brothers of the Bow here, and we've got compassion for each other and our families, but something has to be said, that isn't being talked about. I happen to be a Christian (but I could easily be a Muslim,Jew, or atheist saying the same thing), who believes in what Jesus Christ talked about...helping those who can't help themselves, not to give a free ride, or to judge those who are lesser than us, but to help those in dire need. One basic need is healthcare. Every Western Nation, but ours, has a form of public healthcare. I believe that my faith points to the need for a public option for people (like Dr. Ashby perhaps, and all of our other brothers and sisters of the Bow), so that during their health crisis, they aren't broke, untreated, or alone. I don't mean to preach and I don't look down on you if you don't share my opinion. I pray that our country will have the strength and compassion of the original leader of my church(something I can't claim to possess). God bless and my prayers for you all.

health insurance is definitely a great topic to be discussed, lotb of people being effected by it or the lack of it.

I'd agree there needs to be an overhaul...but the federal govt isn't the one I'd trust to do that for me or anyone, thank you!
I'd love to see our whole Social Service network be Christ driven voluntarily... do "mission" work right here at home and care for our own instead of the govt doing it at horrendous costs and low returns, creating generations of dependency vs. independence.
Alas, Christ ain't done with me yet and who knows what I might think when He finally rules my thoughts!

We are bless to have this forum, to reach out, help each other and Edify. Where I do agree that our nation is under attack and does need prayer. I feel that prayer may be better directed to "Your Will be Done" rather than asking for a direction change that has already put into motion.
This is MY opinion and as a moderator I feel this post is not quite in spirit with the intention of this forum.....Therefor I am locking it down.
