Wednesday December 3rd, I lost a very good friend, Wade Weisel, he was from the Philadelphia area and I only got to met him once a year when we went on vacation at the races in Iowa. He was the type of guy that after not seeing him for a year, as soon as you saw him again, it was just like you had seen him last week. He had some health issues, but I thought had been doing better, he was only 48.
His passing has really hit me hard I guess we were closer than I knew. He really was the nicest guy and would do anything for anybody. We talked often and he had called me a few weeks ago. I called him on Thanksgiving to wish him well and let him I know I was thinking about him. He didn't answer so I left a message, but he never called, that's what hurts the most. I just wish I could have talked to him one more time.
My prayer request is for his daughter Erin. I don't know her, but she is his only family other than Aunts and Uncles, and from what I understand is she has been hit with a lot right now. I pray for God to give her the strength to get through this. I also pray for all of Wade's friends. I know he touched a lot of people, and there are many sad people now that he is gone.

We never know when our time might end. We're often told we should be sure we tell everyone how we feel should we never speak again...but seldom do most of us make that our top priority.
Prayers for peace that you know your friend now knows all and sees all if he were a believer, he stands perfect before Christ. That in itself is just a totally amazing concept that stretches the mortal brain to have to walk in faith.
prayers too for Erin. Indeed, a passing leaves a ton of work and painful stuff... Perhaps she'd enjoy that call if you can find her, that didn't make it to her Dad?
May God grant her peace, power, and cover her in Grace with the peace that passess all understanding.
