Title: prayers for my 5 y/o daughter
Post by: wasapt on March 15, 2008, 07:23:00 AM
I've been down in Houston at Texas Childrens Hospital this week getting the pre-op done with my 5 y/o daughter. She is having open heart surgery on Monday the 17th, to repair a few problems with her heart. She has a twin sis, a younger 2 y/o brother and a 10 year old sis. All your prayers would be appreciated. We will be here for 2 weeks minimum following the operation.

Got cha covered up in prayers for the li'l one and the medical team.  Can't even begin to imagine what you might feel, like Hooked and his family... when it's a young one this way...

All I know is that without God, everyting is overwhelming...with Him in our hearts...and when we truly trust in Him and His will be done...things always seem to go better.

Prayers for peace, hope, confidence and total trust in Him to bring your family closer together and closer to Him.

Lord, in your Mercy, hear our prayers for total recovery for Bryce's li'l gal, known to you!

Lord, I lift up this Bryce's 5 year old daughter to you, be with the doctors and medical team over the next few weeks as she undergoes this surgery and recovery.  Guide hearts, minds and hands as the family and medical team pass through this situation.   God, give special care to the brother and sisters of this little girl.  It is very difficult for children to deal with health issues they may not understand.  Give you peace and comfort to this family and keep them in your constant care.

Thank you for the answers to prayer.  Amen

Bryce.  I am a father of two.  A 15 year old son and  beautiful daughter of 3.  YOU HAVE MY GUARENTEE THAT YOU ARE IN MY PRAYERS.  I can not imagine what you are going thru.  It makes me sick to my heart hearing that children have these problems.
Dear God.  Please oh please bless the hands of the surgeon and his knowledge and experience and allow this precious little girl to get better and live a healthy live.  Also please bless her parents and give them the strength and love that only you can give to get them through this difficult time.   I am being sworn in tomorrow at church as an Elder.  I will pray for you during this cerimony.  You will always be in my thoughts. HI, Aspen.

Congratulations and Yep...God did heal your heart and that is the bestest news I've heard in a while!  We're happy for you.  Listen to your doctors and your mom and dad and get back to the business of being a fun-filled, mischevious 5 year old real soon...and stop by and tell us how you're doing regularly!

Lord...thank you from the bottom of our hearts that you have worked your Love in healing Aspen's heart. Keep her, protect her and strengthen her so she might testify to your love and healing throughout her life and by how she lives her life! amen

May God be with you, and yours in this time of trouble.
I have an old childs long bow that my aunt gave me in 1968. It belonged to her when she was a small girl. She is now in her mid 60s. If your daughter could use it, I would like her to have it. Just let me know.
Lord let our prayers be heard.
Gary

Just an update, Aspen was released from the hospital yesterday with fantastic reports. We will be staying in Houston over the weekend and she sees her doc on Tues for a check up. If all continues to go well, she will be able to come home and we will head back to Lubbock. Thanks again for all your prayers!

Ahhh, Bryce.  The degree of our joy is sometimes measured in the amount of our fear and suffering.

What joy it brings us to read of this sweet child's recovery and how it must make you and the family just rejoice.

Don't forget ever where to give that Glory! Thank you, Jesus, for all you do in all our lives and specifically in this wee one's healing and full life ahead!

Keep theSon in your eyes!
