guys looking for some decent woodies, who makes the best for the money.
-
Bob Burton www.whisperingwindarrows.com (http://www.whisperingwindarrows.com) makes the best I've seen. He uses split hex shafts in either footed or non footed. They are works of art as well as good shooting arrows. Frank

For cost and what goes into them, I don't think Paul at eilitearrows.com can be matched.

Gee this is a tuff one :readit: . LOL My second choice would be you but you just don't know it yet. There are lot of fine arrowsmiths out there, and to say who's the best? Well your going to get many different answers to that.

You made the best wood arrows I have ever purchased or owned pointy sticks!

I recently bought arrows from Paul at elite arrows and can vouch that he's a pleasure to do business with and the arrows are top notch. Prettiest arrows I've seen and they fly good.
I've also had good experiences with Troy B. at sticks and feathers and Raptor.

I can second Mike's recommendation. Elite Arrows are top notch!

me. As a matter of fact, that's the wife's nickname for me- Woody. Cause I build such fine arrows.
Troy Breeding makes some mean sticks too!

Sweet!!! Biggie you're my kind of guy. was thinkin along the same lines when I first read the topic. As far as arrows go all depends on what your willin to pay. there was a guy (Joe)on the sponsor's classifieds section sellin woodies all done up $40 1/2dz TYD. anybody who makes woods knows that that about covers materials and shipping. I bought some from him and his work is tops....Mark
PS: still Grinnin Biggie

Elite Arrows!!!

The Gentleman who makes the best wood arrows that I know of is fellow TradGang member and Sponsor Joe Skipp who owns Renegade Archery.
Unfortunetly I don't think Joe is building arrows anymore :( Looks like I'm going to have to find a new source for my arrows. After shooting Joe's arrows though, everything else just seems "second-best".
(p.s. no offense to anyone intended)
