Two weeks ago from today was not a good day for me. My morning started with learning about the death of a very dear friend on the other side of our state. Later that morning I got a call that my 28 yr old son cut his hand severly in a table saw accident. Over the last weeks I've been busy going back and forth across the state for a funeral and to the Hospital in Baltimore. I am asking that you guys lift my son and my friend's widow, Margaret, up in prayer. Both are doing much better now but there are surely some "bad" days ahead for both. Please pray for a full recovery for my son and for an answer to his financial problems that are coming while he's out of work recovering. Also ask that Margaret is bolstered by the love of friends and family and that she knows the comfort our Lord can only provide.

Just stopping in to say THANKS for the prayers. My son Joe is doing fairly well right now. Dr's have said he is healing well. The financial part is a bit bleak right now but we are working thru that and it looks like it will eventually resolve itself.
I spoke with Margaret yesterday and she is doing well too. Thanks for the support and know that it has helped.

Prayers for continued healing for your son Joe, through the love our God's Son, Jesus. May our Lord continue to minister to Margaret as the attention wanes from friends and the true power of her loss weighs upon her. Keep those close to her Lord, mindful of the ache that will only diminish with time, that they may not be lulled into forgetting how her loss will remain over time.
