Title: prayer for family and a very close friend.

2 people in need of sincere prayer. my older brother, a helicopter pilot in the US army,he has a new baby son at home, I know we've all heard about the recent incidents of helo's getting sot down, Plase keep him in your prayers. and Much more urgently A very close frind of mine in the Marine Corps was wounded 2 days ago in Iraq and is in very serious condition, pleae keep him and his family in your prayers.

time like these I always try to keep the serenity prayer in my mind.
For awhile I haven't been a very good Christian, but lately i;ve been finding such comfort in church.

Mathan,

God loves us in spite of our failures... We don't earn his love by being "good christians vs. bad ones".

It's been a growth process for me to learn to accept I can never "earn" His love... He's too good...I'm too flawed. All He asks is that we accept His love and He'll do the rest!  :)

Prayers for your 2 military family and friends and for all who serve in this onery conflict!  :(

Hang in there, my friend. Keep the Son in your eyes!

good news, my friend's condition is improving, i got word from his family today, he's concious and able to speak a little, the docs say he should recover well

Please let'em both know how PROUD of them WE are as a country,and all their sacrifices they have made for us,I am truly blest to live in such a country as this one and I am reminded every day freedom is NOT FREE.Thanx,Brad
