A few days ago the Lord laid a message on my heart for our home group.
The title "We got People". Lately H&R Block has been running alot of adds pushing the slogan "I got People". And for a few years Verison wireless has used the theme of having the "Network of support" when you are with them.
Well I was reading 1 Peter 2:9 and realized how rich we are as believers. My wife and I have a strong group of believers here locally to support,encourage,pray, and strengthen in so many ways.
But not only hear, Every where we go,all over the world there is a connection that crosses the normal lines and comfort zones that we all have in place.A unity in the belief of eternal life and an all mighty God that compells us lift one another in prayer and to support each other.
We have so much more than a "network" or "company of trained professionals" to help us. We have an army of Warriors to battle not in flesh and blood but in the spiritual realm.
I encourage everyone reading this to take a few minutes and read 1 Peter 2:9-12 ad think about what it means.
I don't post hear very much but I do read and pray for many, that I don't even know. And I know many others do as well. At times we all face circumstances that make us feel all alone in a war, facing the giants of real life.
I pray, that this will help many realize that you are not alone and not only do "you have people" but you have a "People of God" interceding in the spiritual realm. Keenan

Awesome post Keenan. I learned several years ago the magnitude of God's grace through His body. It's incredible once we grasp the follow content of being part of the body! Praise God for your revelation and thank you for sharing as this topic is very dear to my heart. Be blessed as I know you are!

Not much can be added to what's been said. This truly is a blessing to many of us who come and draw way more than we give.

A truly wonderful gift we've been given,providing we are smart enough to JUST BELEIVE. Like Doc said, what can I add to such a kind expression of how it should be, I also am blessed you see I am the childrens pastor at our church and I also corrupt/teach the teens. I feel the Lord has chosen the wrong guy however I can't imagine saying no to the flock who depend on me for spiritual food and a drink from that well of living water,Thanx Brad
