What do you folks use for a temperature controller in your hot boxes? and where did you get it? thanks, Dan.

I bought mine at Lowe's. It is a thermostat for a single pole hot water heater. It has the temperature range I was looking for and it was easy to wire into my heat lamp set-up. It cost about $8.00 if I remember right. It works good.

I purchased a dimmer switch for $2.00 at Big Lots and ran upon a Thermometer made to hang inside house with temp prop to run outside house. Hung the reader on the outside of hot box and prob inside. (Clearance at K-mart for $6.00)

I too used a dimmer switch and then just drilled a hole in the box and use a meat thermometer... Works like a charm and is quite cost effective...
