A Brush Bow, Yew Handle with Cocobolo Palm Cocobolo Overlay Bamboo Limbs 41# @ 28" 58" AMO Right Hand.
I know it is just after Christmas: we promised not to get each other anything big. She got me a shirt and a book, I got her some power goo for when she runs and a DVD she really likes. Then yesterday I was thinking hey, I got a bear target and trip too, kinda for Christmas she really deserves something more. She has a beautiful Raptor bamboo self bow and she loves it, but she only shoots it ok (I think it is harder to learn on a selfbow), and she has a Ragim kids recurve she shoots better but she doesn’t like recurves much. So I thought that if I got a modern longbow for her to practice with and enjoy her shooting would really improve. I wanted her to approve of such a purchase first so last night (when she was sleepy) I asked her if she would like another bow "someday" hehehe? She said "yeah, yawn that would be neat, thanks for thinking about me" Too bad/good for her that she slept in today, Sandy and Hornes and I got the ball rolling , it should be here by Friday. :jumper: Here are some pics off the website.

Very pretty bow, Ive never seen Yew in a riser, nice combo. She will be happy for sure, My wife's Cocobolo and quilted maple breed is supposed to be here by the end of the week.
Nothing like surprising the ladies in our life.

Dale, It sounds like a beauty you've/your wife has comming. You will have to post pics when it comes. Yeah I'm not sure what the yew will look like in person but the cocobolo looks very pretty. The other bow they had was purple heart and osage. I really like cocobolo on a bow plus the coco one was 2 inches shorter, easier for her to handle

9 mile,
Good looking bow and they are great people to work with.
Just got to wondering if I build a new bow, does that mean I can buy a wife to shoot it? Probably all the good models are spoken for already anyway! Guess I will have to stick with building bows and selling them.

I love you, my wife likes it the best, her first bow was cocobolo and Yew.
I will post pics once I get her!!

I just have to say Sandy and Mark @ Horne's bows really put out a beautiful product. It came to late for her to shoot it but it looks like a screamer!!!

Very nice bow! Are you sure it is for her? LOL

41 pounds is a little light for me, I'm shooting in the 55-65 range. Yeah, I had another shot of her with a smile pulling it but the angle was bad. She's pretty excited....I hope  :biglaugh:

I was just teasing. She's going to love it. The Hope bow is a great shooter and the Horne's are great folks.
