Back in Boston for several weeks as my wife recovers from shoulder surgery. Hog hunting, riding my horse, forging knives, fly fishing, etc. are on hold until we head back to our Aiken, SC farm for the rest of the spring. Not much going on so I've been re-visiting some of my old bows...ones that I haven't touched in years.
Hit Huntsman RH 56" 42#@28 is a unique bow...Aqua colored glass with Mother of Pearl tip & riser over lays. It shoots as well as any modern recurve that I have. The one reason it has been sitting for so long is the grip is very fat and doesn't fit my hand well. Being bored, I slimmed & reshaped the grip to my likings. It will be hunting hogs soon in the southern Georgia swamps. Double click pictures to enlarge...tippit

Grip change compare to another Hit Huntsman. I'll finish up the bow back in Aiken.

Bud Hitt made some very interesting bows. I have missed a few that come onto the market over the past year or so, including two different Huntsman recurves and a LH three piece takedown with the "dual cam" limbs ala Bill Stewart. That's a beauty, Jeff.
