Title: A conundrum: 1960's US bows contemporary with UK's Marksman bows

The 1966 "full" line-up of Marksman "Forest" bows: King, Knight, Prince, Princess & Ranger.
These bow's were brought to market in: '59 - (original, not sure if or how revised later) Ranger; '64 - Knight; '65 - Princess; '66 - King & Prince.
In a recently acquired brochure, there are hand-written annotations which name contemporary(?) US bow models, wherein lies the conundrum:
- were these the bows that the Marksman models were "derived" from?
- were these the bows that were seen as the nearest US competitors?
- any other answers?

L->R: Forest Knight, Forest Knight, Forest Princess, Princess, Forest Ranger, Forest Ranger, Ranger.

Certainly makes one wonder about the collaboration across the pond back in the day.

Some Nice bows with clean lines!   :)
