Title: Peak-a-bo. Can you find me?
Post by: Glenn Carl on December 17, 2007, 12:05:00 PM
Got to snap this picture about a month ago coming home from a job site. Amazing how well they blend into their surroundings.

Is there a second one bedded?  About three inches to the right at the same level as that does knees.  Looks like a ear and eye?

I think there's one bedded at the lower left corner of the pic. Looks like I can make out a nose, right eye and the tip of the left ear.
There camo sure is good. WIsh I could get the maker of their camo to send me some.....LOL
Nice picture.

Not sure but I believe i see a possible 4 deer.
1. the doe
2.Looks like a beded dear in the lower left corner of pic. can see a nose, eye & partial ear.
3. Back & to the right of the main doe looks like the outline of a does head & chest through the brush.
4. Low & Right of the Main doe looks like a leg & part of the belly of 1 laying also.
Thats all I can see & I am not sure if there deer or brush that looks like deer.!!!

See if this changes anything.

I increased the contrast, color saturation and sharpened the detail.

I hope you don't mind Wood Butcher.

I see two. A Doe in front of the tree and a Fawn to the right standing up looking back. I tried to put red arrows on its tail, rt ear and nose. Hope this works.

This thread has really made me laugh!    :biglaugh:  Thanks.

I can't buy into your sightings but you get credit for sticking to your beliefs.

The rule know your target before you shoot is a GREAT rule!

I see what FJ sees as the arrow farthest to the right.  However, I think that is the backend of the head on the left of the picture.  Looks to be some sort of weiner-deer, kinda like a dachsund...Mike

Ain't it something, when deer are out of direct sunlight how well they blend in. Our eyes seem to be drawn to what stands out most. That's why I love Trad Hunting so much. Gotta be/get close!

That being said... I still can only see one. Can't get an arra thru that stuff anyway...  :(  ...

OK guys I have blow up the original picture and looked every where and I only see the one deer on the left. I watched the deer for several minutes and never saw any other deer the day I took the picture. If there are more in there I never saw them.     Glenn
