Title: Hey BEAR guys
Post by: GRAYBEARD on February 21, 2016, 01:10:00 PM
I was just given an all green 60"AMO Bear recurve. It has it's share of scratches but looks to be serviceable. I got a B50 string from 3Rivers and it has been braced for about a week with no odd noises or fiber splinters. Question 1: what brace height should I start with? Question 2: It carries ser# KT84675 with a nickel medallion. What model is it and how old?
God's Peace,
Jed

I would start at 7 1/2", but I'll bet you will end up closer to 8 1/4. That's measured from the deepest part of the grip to the string.
