Can anyone tell me the angle that Magnus and Zwickey broadheads are sharpened to from the factory.
Thanks, Burnsie
Bernsie,
I just checked an out of the pack Zwicky delta which in my opinion is not sharpened at all, more like coarsely ground. The factory bevel as near as I can tell with my protractor is 25 degrees.
The Magnus reads about 26 or 27 degrees and is only slightly sharper than the Zwicky.
Either of these angles are excellent choices because, once finsh sharpened and polished they will stay sharp much longer than a lower angle grind like 20 or 22 degrees.
The Magnus should be easier to sharpen because the edge is already straight while the Delta's blades are actually slightly concave out of the pack. You'll have to remove more steel from the Zwicky on the initial sharpening to get the blades straight.

So is that 13 degrees on either side for a total of 26 or is it 26 degrees on each side?
TexMex,
Those are the individual angles for a total bevel angle of 50 - 54 dergees depending on the broadhead. I know it sounds high but consider a three blade broadhead, they are all ground at 60 degrees on each side of each blade for a total bevel of 120 degrees.

Thanks
It did sound kinda high.
