I am now blessed to own three 1960 Kodiaks with original featherrest and strikeplate backed up with butcherblock I beam construction...not something one sees every day...and Bear was not the only maker to use the butcherblock concept...let's see how much butcherblock we can display for those who are new to trad collecting and may have never seen it

Very nice Dave! Besides Bear bows; I purchased a Harry drake hunter flight at Denton with a beautiful site window. Put it in my vehicle after being stopped by roughly 10 people for it.

I just added my first Root bow to the herd on the weekend...not a butcherblock but a nice bow nevertheless...I certainly will add a Drake if I get a chance...the bowyers of those times were a very different breed when it came to creativity
