I had a friend put on some NEAT LAC on the handle after I shot the bow for a couple of months..got the handle soiled with my palm sweat then put on the lac....looks good I think

That does look nice. ;)
BTW, that leather grip is my only complaint. After a week, I took it off and installed my own elk version....which is far better now.
C'mon Bear, train someone properly and order some decent leather. I know...I keep saying this... :deadhorse:

elk would be a great leather for this bow !!
sure are shooters..whips an arrow...love most of the BEAR bows...
my favorite is a B riser LH 1970 takedown..have two sets of limbs for it..would love an "A" handle takedown in LH too but not easy to find

I like it!

That looks good, might have to give it ago. There's no problem working up the sweat, it's 95F here, today.
It seems they have improved the grip problem, I'm real happy with mine.

I have two 59 repros by other makers that both have been leather gripped..... they definitely look better with age..
