What LENGTH fletch do you use most often?

Thanks,
Terry; while you are in Salado on your hunt ,you should go to Belton, about 5 miles up I-35 to visit Peacocks Archery. Not really a trad shop but Mr. Peacock has collected recures and longbows for years, and has over 300 of them hanging from the ceiling and in cases in the shop. I`ve shot stickbows for 45 years, both target and hunting and he`s got several I`ve never seen. Allow yourself about an hour to see them and talk to Mr. Peacock,he`s a great guy,and he hunts with a stickbow. Bob
I use 5" for 3 fletch and 4" for four fletch. Been finding myself using more and more of the 4" lately.
4x4 works great for me!
I use 5 inch four fletch.
High back 5.5 for me.....
5.5 naners here.
Minoritey I may be... but since I have started shooting CT Rhino's I have been shooting nothing but 4" Fletching. A straighter shaft=Less steering on the back end. Quick recovery and great penetration!
5" helical shield cut...stable.
5 inch shield as much helical as i can get.
Been using 5" on my 3 and 4 fletch, but am now going to try 4" for my 4 fletch.
5" three fletch, shield cut, helical.
5 1/2" HIGH BACK !!!
5 1/2" Shield cut left helical. I've been using these for 35 years, and see no reason to change now.....
>DEERSLAYER---->
Burn 3 helical 5.5" parabolic shape. Haven't found an arrow/broadhead that won't fly well with big feathers.
5" parabolic and shield cut.
It had been 5" shields, but I've switched over to 4x4" (60/120)... mostly b/c I'm cheap :D
5 1/2" high back shield cut left wing.
4" shield cut out of my ironwood widow recurve so the feather touches the end of my nose at full draw.
5inch bananas or 5 1/2 same for parobolics and sheild cut...The longer feathers make some arrows work better, thats just what I feel, I like the 4x4 fletch with 4inch feathers, but not for hunting....I have couple three dozen of Legacys in 4 inch feather that fly great and are just find... :)

Same here.
5" Anything I'm not fussy. But mostly shields.<><
5" helical LW shield cut.

4x4 @ 105x75
Four fletch allows for a 4" feather, so you can burn/chop two fletches from each full length feather for best economy. More effective surface area for better control at trad hunting distances. No cock feather, so no indexing needed on yer nock for faster nocking, too! :)
Chop my own LW 5 1/2" high back shield cut.
5 1/2 for me.
5" low shields. Right wing, straight fletch with a good offset. Flies straight, true & fast!
5 1/2 shields or naners they look awesome.
5&1/2 Hi-back shields
With selfbows I like a low brace height to make a longer power stroke, so I use 4inch feathers or my own design. Kinda like a shield cut that are a little higher.
5.5 inch shield cut, left wing.
5.5 inch nanners,3 fletch on woodies. They just look better on woodies.5 inch, 3 fletch, parabolics on aluminums.
I use 5 inch shields most of the time, but occasionally 4 inch shields.
I use 5" on my hunting arrows and I use 4" on my target arrow.
5" three fletch, shield cut, left helical
Regards, Carl
Size matters!!! So I compensate with 5.5" nanner highbacks...
I use 5.75" Magnum 'Nanners in a Rt wing 3-fletch. I need as much steering control as I am still trying to be consistent. Since 5.75 wasn't a choice, I put down 6".

5.5" left wing shield's ,chopped from wild turkey wing feathers.
I use 5" most of the time.
5 1/2" ALL THE TIME.
Sometimes I use 4 4". You can get two 4" out of a full length.
Thanks for the votes guys. Much appreciated.
I've been using 3, 5 1/2" shields. But I also like 3, 5 1/2" Nanners.
