This is my first self bow. It is Osage orange (of course!). Finished up at 64" lg, 45# @27". I must give a lot of credit to Rocdoc. He supplied the stave and provided invaluable help and guidance.

Nice! I think I'll have to make one soon, the itch is getting pretty bad.
Congratulations on your first selfbow. Jawge
Nice work Randy.
Lookin Good!!!!
Thanks, I just finished 2 for the grandkids (see other post) and plan on starting a BBO soon.
Congratulations on a fine selfbow, the first of many I'm sure.
Mark
Great job Randy! Very good for a first bow...I'm sure you'll be making more. Bowbuilding is like eating potato chips...you can't have just one. :) Congrats! Matt
Looks Great!
VERY NICE!
Nice looking bow. Shooting bows you made yourself is fun but making them is even funner. Enjoy.
Sweet tiller. Nothing like the feeling. Well done.
That looks GREAT! Good job!!
Hey nice job on the bow.
How's Rocdoc's shoulder doin? Last time I saw him he was having trouble drawing a bow. Does he still have that bow horse he bought off me?
Chris
very nice
Minuteman,
Rocdoc's shoulder is OK. He's mostly shooting light bows around 40-45#. If it is the bowhorse in his shop, than yes he does. I haven't seen him since season started.
That bow is something to be proud of. Very well done.
... ...
I am glad I never took a picture of my first selfbow. Even with a sinew backing it didn't last past 30 shots.
Your first is better looking than my 20th. Great job!
Sweet looking bow!!!
The first is the hardest, nice work!
Sweet good job
