I traded a bow for a A-mag riser. It is a hunting bow for sure(no collector value) and limbs have scratches but shoots well and like the wgt. and grip.If I have it dipped I am sure I can expect some rubbing off on the limbs removing the limbs any other reason to not do it.Also can someone recommend a bow quiver I have a spring arm and acc. sockket bear about 30 plus years old and a clamp on 4-arrow which would go on the fad outs.Your thoughts would be helpful. Thanks Kip

Kip, I like the Annawakee "A mag " quiver, it screws into the bottom side of the riser and the top straps to the limb wedge just above the latch. Very stable ,quiet , no modification, no scratching /marring of riser or limbs. there are some pics in this forum with a search.

Thanks Chad I will look it up.How about dipping the bow any downside with the moving parts (latches)I know you have reconditioned quite a few mags would you dip one.Kip

never got one dipped, so cant weigh in. Guess it would be your preference .Could always take the latches off before dipping. probably still look good. remember.... post some pics!

Have you thought of having the riser powder coated? That is a very durable finish. I may do that with one of mine after this year's deer season is over.
I really like the classic Bear 4-arrow quiver. It takes some tinkering to get one to be quiet, but it is worth the time. I have this quiver set up on two of my Bear TDs, and I like it.
Good luck with it. Bear TDs are great bows.
