Here is a rare one I picked up at the Coon Rapids shoot today. It's a factory camo early Gainsville B handle set up, 60", 50#... a few scuffs in the paint but in decent shape, no holes that I can see.

Nice going Chuck! And you know those limbs came with the bow! :archer:
-
yea Bjorn, it seems to be a matching outfit. I don't ever remember seeing a camo riser before, just limbs over the years. I was happy to come home with it and wasn't expecting to find it there. It is signed "Happy Hunting Dave" which is my middle name. That name was given to me for my grandpa Dave, so I named this bow "Grandpa". I don't name many bows in my collection but I have given a few noteworthy bows names... there's "Little Kodiak", "Homer", "twisted sister", "longbow99", "Ugh", "Wade", "Doc", and "Snicklefritz" (a personal favorite hunting bow). After that is gets a little weird.... hehehe.

You nailed it Dave on the '62, I'll take some pics. "Top Kodiak" is a very special bow too,a 56 inch 1959 Kodiak with a maple site window... named in honor of Al.

Chuck - congrats on the camo'ed green stripe!
I was talking with Terry from the Footed Shaft about it on Sunday. Just about had my son (it's our Father's Day tradition to shoot Coon Rapids every year since 96) talked into buying it for me ;-)
That's the only one like that I've ever heard of!

yea , I've been looking at this bow down at the Footed Shaft for over a year now, finally a deal came together that we were both happy with. The handle cleaned up pretty good, that camo paint was really stuck on. I'm still having trouble getting all the paint off the limbs however :) j/k...you should give me call when you have time.

Chuck,
Nice find! I have a Green Stripe in the illusion factory camo. Doesn't have Fred's signature though.

That Handle and I have history from a year ago, and I never laid a hand on it. lol
Congrats Chuck, glad it found a home.
-
Chuck,
The only pictures I have on file of the illusion camo are with a few other T/D risers in group photos.

That's a cool handle Jack, I've seen matching limbs for it on auction a couple times but they are rare. I wondered last night how many different camo patterns Bear used on their bows over the years. I've seen at least 3 now.
