Title: Little Bear Recurve
Post by: arrows2000 on January 29, 2013, 05:32:00 PM
Currently on the auction site there is a Little Bear
that can be shot either left or right handed.
However I have never seen one with this type of an arrow rest. (A peg through the Riser sticking out each side).
I have seen the peg on one side or the other but not both. Is this common or rare for the Little Bear?

It's in the Bear catalog in 1969 and then in the 1970 along with the Cub that had the same rest. The 1970 catalog says random glass colors. Both bows are right or left as the nylon peg goes through the riser.

A word of caution, as those bows age the arrow rest peg becomes brittle and when and if you try to move it from one side to the other it will break off. Just from personal experience.
