I got a bunch of arrows at a local auction today and have a couple of questions because I know nothing about vintage arrows. They were all in very good shape and most just plain jane nothing out of the ordinary wooden arrows. However, there was one set of broadhead tipped arrows, some micro diameter aluminums and two strange points.
First, the broadheads. They say Hills Hornet and are all in very good condition, still very are sharp. There are seven total and I was wondering if these heads are common and have any value.

Next are the aluminum arrows. These are definitely kids arrows as they only 24.5" long. However, they are ultra thin at less than 1/4". Are these special in any way, I am assuming they are vintage but know nothing else about them.

Finally, there were two heads, one attached to an arrow, that have me puzzled. They definitely look homemade to me but I can't figure out what they would be used for. I was thinking maybe frog hunting but it is just a guess. The spikes are about 5" long.

The heads likely are used for "corn stalk" shooting. It's a shooting event practiced by the Cherokee in Oklahoma.

Hill's Hornets are common but a very good head to hunt with. The arrows the Hornets are on look to be some very nicely made arrows. Is there a label, name etc? Diameter, spine?
I have heard the long spike point were used for the putt in archery golf.
It's possible there could be lettering just below the crest on the aluminum arrows. 24srt-Swift-X7

There is no writing on any of the arrows. According to the auctioneer, all of these arrows were handmade by the man whom the arrows were acquired from for the sale. The arrows are extremely straight and the feathers are in great shape on them. Spine is unknown and the diameter is 11/32" The aluminums also have no markings. Measured with my digital caliper, they are only .232" so less than 1/4".

The aluminums are probably Easton SRT-X shafts popular in the 60s and predecessor to the XX75. They may be a lady's arrow too. Another old Easton shaft was a Swift but they were soft as noodles.

Several suppliers still carry these heads, mostly advertised for corn stalk shooting, but on occasion they are used in archery golf. The arrow fletching would likely provide a clue. An archery golf arrow should have large flu flu feathers with this head, a corn stalk arrow would have smaller fletch for distance.

In archery golf there were 3 arrows.A flight arrow was the driver. A long point (corn stalk type) was an iron for getting on the green and a blunt with flu flu fletch was your putter. The long point was so you didn't tear up the green.

Thanks for all of the help. The arrow that the point is on has 3" shield feathers so I am guessing it is for corn stalk shooting.

The odds likely favor those heads being used in some form of Archery Golf as the gentleman above noted. The heads are similar and apparently the same type heads used for both activities. Some folks used a selection of bows as well as different arrows for a variety of situations.

My long points are used for corn stalk shooting.
