ok, if i done my reading right. my Kodiak hunter is 60" and flush Madelon gold coin standing bear. serial # kt26496 green color. screen print on the face of top limb. no bushing insert. tells me it was made between 1970 to 1972 bow? thanks, denny

The green futurewood hunters were made starting in 1973, with the raised medallion. So if yours has a flat medallion, that would be something out of the norm. The 1970 to 1972 hunters were a 2 piece riser.

No stabilizer bushing 1970.

ok, thank you sir.. i will get a picture if that will help? thanks

The dual tropical hardwood risers were 1970-72 like Horney Toad mentioned. The stabilizer bushing became standard starting in 1971. KT serial number, dual tropical hardwood riser and no stabilizer bushing would make it a 1970.
Should look like this.

stumpkiller, the k in the serial number means it was started in 1970. the accessory bushing means they stater putting them on in 1971. the green future wood was started in 1973 to 1975. and the overlays tells them what year exactly they where made. i think my bow and yours where made pretty much the same time.. nice looking bow you have...thanks, denny
