Hey Guys, After looking for a long time, Found myself my first 59, And in my price range. She's been used and beat, But I'm sure I can fix her up.. It's 45# and 60" I need a coin, Side plate (where can I gett one ? that came on them in 59,) Also need leather grip..
Also look at the low serial number it reads 251 ??...

Unless I am mistaken, the 'B' denotes a 60" bow and the 'D' gives an idea of when in the year it was made-they started with 'A'. So BA xxx would be very early in the year. The coins are available from kurtbel who posts on here and Trap does the feather rests. Trap may also supply the sideplate or will know who does. That is a nice piece of rosewood in the riser Cody. Good to see you back!

That is some beautiful lookin grain right there. I picked a 59 up earlier this year a bit worse for wear then yours and it came out just fine with some patient work on my part. A lot of good advice came off bd's restoration. Good info on the leather grip and strike plate which you will find is not that difficult if you just get into it. Post pics as you move along, it would be fun to watch.

Super wood grain on that one..Bob York makes the arrow side plates.. [email protected] 610-532-4215
If the limbs are nice you could always refinish just the riser wood..it would make that grain pop...
